Hello and welcome to the inaugural issue of Authentic Leadership newsletter. The dictionary defines authentic as worthy of trust reliance or belief. Leadership is founded on the traits of honesty, integrity, and the ability to attract people to your vision.
Walt Disney once said "Leadership means that a group, large or small, is willing to entrust authority to a person who has shown judgement, wisdom, personal appeal, and proven competence." The Authentic Leadership newsletter aspires to empower you to authentically lead your staff to achievement of the corporate vision.
The content is user driven. I want to provide you with the information you want, the way you want it. So I will need your support to make it work. Here's how you can help.

Each newsletter will have an "Ask Yvonne" section where I will answer career and leadership questions from your emails.

Each newsletter will feature a leadership article which may be written by me or a guest writer.

I'm actively recruiting writers for the newsletter. So if you are an expert on leadership, communications, dealing with difficult people, or just love to write, send me your bio and a sample of your work.
The first quarter of 2008 is over and it's time for the first look at our accomplishments thus far. Are you on track to achieve the goals you set?
In order to be of better service to you and create a more focused brand, I created a new website www.yvonnefbrown.com and placed all of my speaker related materials in one place to ensure easy access for meeting and event planners to the information they need. I also updated my speaker kit and videos. All of these new marketing materials were added to the website and I would really appreciate your feedback on both the website and the marketing materials.
